Biography

Chris is the only former Kentucky Attorney General with a government relations practice. He remains active in the NAAG (National Associations of Attorneys General) and SAGE (Society of Attorneys General Emeritus), and continues to practice law. Prior to serving as Kentucky’s top law enforcement officer, he was elected several times to local office. As a former trial attorney, Attorney General and local government office holder, Chris has years of experience in business litigation, strategy development, and advocacy.

He was named a top Lawyer by Louisville Magazine in the areas of Administrative Law, Business Law, Corporate Law & Healthcare Law. Chris was honored as the winner of the Bingham Freedom of Information Award, 1995 which is the highest award given by the Kentucky Press Association to a non-member.
